Renowned English luxury goods house, Asprey, hits town with the opening of a mammoth flagship store exclusively in Starhill Gallery.
Making its presence felt on the Ground Floor of Starhill Gallery is The Asprey Kuala Lumpur, spanning approximately 2500sq ft – spacious enough to showcase the extensive range of Asprey products including jewellery, watches, leather goods, silverware, silk, china, crystal, ready-to-wear, fashion accessories, and its signature fragrance, Purple Water.

Brought to our shores with the help of the Valiram Group, the store reflects the same materials used in its concept stores in London and New York, designed and developed by Lord Norman Foster and David Mlinaric. Floors are made of solid stone and blond oak, carpets are of woven suede and walls of polished plaster.

The grand launch, which took up the entire Ground Floor of Starhill Gallery and the Third Floor Restaurant at JW Marriott Hotel, was indeed a glamorous cocktail party with the cream of exclusive Malaysian society in attendance.

Officiating the opening of the boutique was HRH Sultan Sharafuddin IDris Al-Haj ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj, together with Valiram Group Executive Chairman, Jethanan Valiram, and Group CEO, Gianluca Brozetti.
Other honoured guests who graced the launch were the Regent of Perak, Raja Dr Nazrin Shah, as well as the Regent of Negri Sembilan, Tunku Naquiyuddin and HRH Tunku Nurul Hayati.
Providing the entertainment while the guests enjoyed light refreshments were jazz and blues singer, Noryn Aziz, and the Tenors and Divas Incognito, who were specially flown in from the UK.
