BBC to broadcast Bath Concert Special

Kuala Lumpur, 12 January 2004

In front of a live audience of an estimated 40,000 local people, the world's favourite tenors - Jose Carreras, Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti perform live against the backdrop of World Heritage City, Bath in an amazing concert staged by YTL Corporation Berhad; the owners of the UK's Wessex Water.

As the city bathed in the emotion and passion of this wonderful performance, which featured a unique rendition of the hymn "It Is Well With My Soul" - a first for the Three Tenors, Brandnation Productions were busy capturing the moment on film.

This beautiful production, to be broadcast around the World from Asia to Europe over the coming months premiers on Saturday 17 January 2004 at the prime time of 19.00 hrs (UK time), will first be featured on the UK's free to air national broadcaster the BBC.

The counties of Wessex still buzz with memories of the events of 7 August 2003 and now millions of people around the World are set to share in the moment thanks to the generosity of YTL and its inspirational leader Tan Sri Francis Yeoh. Yeoh said "This concert is YTL's journey of thanksgiving to the British people but most importantly to God. Enjoy the concert".
