YTL Corp wins Gold award for Best Workplace Practices at Global CSR Awards 2014

The 6th Annual Global CSR Summit & Awards 2014 ended on a high note at the Laguna Luxury Collection Resort, Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia with 31 Companies honoured for outstanding contributions in Corporate Social Responsibility.

YTL Corporation Berhad was presented with the Gold Award for ''Best Workplace Practices'' adding to their accolades. YTL Group's previous wins at the Global CSR Award include Bronze award for Product Excellence in 2012 (YTL Communications), Silver Award for ''CSR Leadership'' in 2011 (YTL Corporation), Bronze Award for ''Best Product Excellence'' in 2011 (YTL Cement), Bronze Award for ''CSR Leadership Excellence'' in 2010 (YTL Corporation) and Silver Award for ''CSR Leadership Excellence'' in 2009 (YTL Corporation).

The CSR Awards Ceremony is part of the Recognition Awards programme for Corporate Social Responsibility. The programme recognises and honours companies for outstanding, innovative and world-class products, services, projects and programmes.

Over 150 entries were received from companies all over the world for the 6th Annual Global CSR Summit & Awards 2014, recognized as Asia’s most prestigious event and awards on Corporate Social Responsibility.

The winners were selected through a systematic rating process from a renowned panel of judges namely: Mr Mark Goyder (Founder of Tomorrow’s Company), Professor Dr. Geoffrey Williams (Founder and Director of Williams Business Consultancy and Deputy Vice Chancellor at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, Malaysia), Mr Tjahjono Soerjodibroto (National Director of World Vision Indonesia) and Mr Frank Reimann (Founding Partner of Community Insights).
