A glossy coffeetable book called Portraits of Hope 3, featuring 52 glamorous Malaysians, hopes to raise funds for The Queen’s Foundation through its sales. The 228-page book will be launched at Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur in a glittering society ball in either July or August.

The list formally recognizes individual hotels worldwide that consistently deliver excellent service, a great overall experience and a notable value. The full list represents about one percent of the nearly 80,000 hotel properties offered on Expedia and The Ritz-Carlton is the only hotel in Malaysia mentioned on the list.

Tan Sri (Dr.) Francis Yeoh, Managing Director of YTL Corp who owns Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur, played host to the two tennis greats and met them at a private session with his family. Sampras who was the first to meet the owner of the hotel commended him saying, "You’ve got a great hotel here. You’ve put me in a nice room and it’s incredible! Might be the best I’ve ever stayed in!"
Tan Sri who pays a yearly visit to Switzerland, the home of Federer himself, said, "The Swiss are very proud of you and I think you’re the nicest champion around. You’re really good at your game but what keeps you so humble?"
The ever-modest Federer replied, "I guess my parents educated me in a way that’s good and I think my success came at the right time. I didn’t have success too early. Victory at 15 is not easy to handle because you’re still a kid."
