The Luxury Channel, YTL-owned, recently launched on CNBC Europe, the leading pan-European business and financial TV channel. The first of the six-part, weekly 'luxury' series, which made its debut on the channel on Wednesday, 6 December, was very well received. Each programme is repeated across the weekend.
The Luxury Channel series takes a look at the fine things in life from the most exclusive and expensive cars to the biggest super-yachts; from beautiful hideaway resorts to the inside stories behind some of the greatest luxury brands - and the entrepreneurs behind them.
Each of the 30-minute documentary style programmes gives viewers a unique insight in to the lifestyles of the mega rich.
Infoscreen Networks Plc, a subsidiary of YTL e-Solutions Bhd and YTL Corp Bhd, acquired a 70% stake in The Luxury Channel Ltd in November this year.
The Luxury Channel is a new global television channel that covers the world's luxury goods market. It is targeted at high net worth viewers and those who have aspirations to join those who appreciate the good things in life.
Led by an award winning team of filmmakers, The Luxury Channel offers documentary style programmes that tell the inside stories of the great luxury brands. Stylish and informative, the programmes will focus on the pinnacle of European and worldwide excellence, craftsmanship and innovation.
The Luxury Channel is destined to become the first channel that will be a world-leading up-market media brand. The Luxury Channel's first programmes are now available on CNBC Europe from December, and from next year, on a dedicated satellite and web TV channels.
