YTL Foundation was established in 1995 with the objective of promoting higher education in Malaysia by offering scholarships to deserving individuals who would otherwise be denied of higher education due to financial constraints. Given the opportunity, such individuals will be able to achieve their full potential and assume leadership positions to contribute towards the nation's economic development.

Requirements:

Outstanding results in SPM and STPM examinations (or equivalent);
Gained admission to an accredited institution of higher learning;
Exhibited leadership qualities in sports and/or extra-curricular activities;
Not receiving any scholarships, financial aid or awards from other educational institutions or organizations.

To apply, please submit the following:

Letter of application
Letter of offer from institution of higher learning
Copies of results, testimonials and certificates
